Day 7

Went for our first BPE lesson today after 6 days of fun. Today is also the day where the WUST starts school, therefore the school compound is packed with students. Our school is located up in the hill and we had to climb up a short hill, just like Ngee Ann again. Today lesson was rather short, as Mr Loh just introduced the basic of BPE and let us familiarize with operation of Flexsim program on our laptop. Lesson starts at 10am and ends at about 12 noon. After lesson, went to have wantons again.

Poor Mr Loh has to use chalks instead of markers

Gathered back at the hostel lobby at 1:45pm to have another school tour. This time round we visited engineering school and life science school. There is a lecturer from WUST explaining to us the facilities and various activities conducted in the class. As the trip was from one school to another, the scorching hot weather is making everyone almost unbearable.

Went to the life science school after the engineering school tour. Inside we are demonstrated many kinds of hospital care for patients, and viewing sample of real human parts dissect.

On the way back, saw the local students having their practical lesson.

The fourth canteen that we found. It's located furthest away from our hostel.
Other note: Today's temperature soared up to 39 degree!

Reflection:
From what we observed, china people are quite nice. They showed plenty of respect to foreigners. Went to many places to have meal and even though the local people knew we are foreigners, they showed no discrimination. In fact, they provide heart warming welcome. Another thing as noted by chin kuang, is that unlike in singapore, the local store waiters doesn't clear off your plates immediately after you finished eating. They wait till you left the store then they collect the plates. Plus, they would usually say 'thank you, please come again'. Such acts are really commendable in china.
