Day 21 - Shopping

Had IS lesson at 9am in the morning. Today we learnt about Chinese philosophy like dynasty era and famous characters such as Confucius and mencius. Class dismissed at 12pm in the afternoon and heard that there was no BPE lesson as Mr Loh was sick. Get well soon, Mr Loh. Since there were nothing to do in the afternoon, we decided to go 世界城shopping mall at 光谷街(guanggu street) again. A total of 11 of us made it there. Me, Daniel, Erwin and Edy took cab there with a fee of 20RMB, while others took bus there. We dined at Houcaller Beefsteak House for lunch, and it was fabulous. After eating I went to shop for jacket and eventually I bought one, which cost 230RMB(48SGD). I bought a jacket because I realised that the weather is dropping cold nowadays. After shopping, had a tea session at Starbuck before going over to find the other groups of girls who are doing manicures. Before we end our shopping trip for the day, we ate at McDonalds for dinner and cab home back again.

The cab driver for the return trip is rather a nervous one. We told him about our campus venue and he went the wrong way, and he seems slightly a bit weird. Imagine travelling in cab at night around a city where you don't know where you are. Luckily he eventually brought us back to WUST and reduced the cab fee by 10RMB as he overcharged us by the wrong direction. Well, we could only blame that our school campus is located in such a downtown places.
